We came to Pippins for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, despite this being written on the booking, not once was it mentioned. Upon entry, we thought the building was wonderful, we love renovated properties and this had clearly been done to a high standard. No one showed us the way to the dining room or greeted us upon entry. Eventually we found the restaurant. We decided to have the Haddock and chips, these were excellent in every way hence 5 *! We asked for salt and unfortunately two pepper pots were delivered along with a plastic vinegar bottle that hadn’t been decanted. We’d chosen this restaurant as it’s allegedly a Michelin Star listed!!!! Really? The service was very awkward and verging on rude when my plate was cleared whilst my wife was still eating! We booked through “ The Fork” which offered a 50% discount making it better value then your local chippy! The value made it worthy of a visit, but we couldn’t help but feel they were unhappy by the amount we spent! No one asked us if we’d enjoyed the meal or even said “thank you” upon our departure. It was the best dinner experience I have had in all my time in London. The food was incredible, but the star was the service which was unmatched. They were so kind and thoughtful and when they learned that we were celebrating they surprised us with beautiful custom deserts. I would recommend in a heartbeat for any occasion! Newly opened restaurant - we were wowed by the attention to detail and warm welcome from staff as soon as we walked into the Templeton Garden hotel to dine at Pippin's. The lounge, bar, restaurant and garden areas are stunning, their interior design delivers the warmth that matches their service. Greeted by their lovely and personable Operations manager Dua, who looked after us from start to finish, she deserves 5* alone! The food was fantastic - flavours of childhood with an elevated twist, and affordably priced. Liam (Head Chef) spent time talking to us about the menu, passionate about his love of everything caviar :) Lastly, ending the perfect night in the Sprout bar area with magician Dom, who created such innovative cocktails. Do not miss out on the Red onion martini! Thank you for a wonderful evening spent with great food and service. Worth coming to Earls Court, simply to enjoy the wonderful company of all at Templeton Gardens! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
