I discovered this quaint, rustic, little restaurant on my last night in Shunan. When you enter, you immediately feel a sense of comfort. Once you start talking to the owners, you will know why. They are the most, sweetest, down to earth, amazing couple you will ever meet in your travels throughout Japan. This love, caring, kind, dedicated and innovative personality is what reflected in their food. They make you feel at home, their conversations makes you feel as if you belong in their hearts and their food gives you a sense of comfort, you can only discover here. I really enjoyed having fun, interesting conversations with the various local residents that frequent this lovely establishment and I truly enjoyed the thoughtful conversations I had with the owners. If only Toronto had half of what they provide, we will be in a happier place. Thank you for the conversations and delicious food. I highly recommend their sausage to start and their mutton curry. I wish Shunan had a top 10 list of must visit places to enjoy, they would be number 1. Arigato gozaimasu. Gochisou samadeshita. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
