We were very excited to try this place for our anniversary. The atmosphere alone made it easy to pick a dinner spot for this occasion. Unfortunately, the service made the experience difficult to give higher ratings. My husband got up twice to refill his water. He later ordered another beverage from the bar and received it after he finished his meal. The lack of checking on us is why I am posting this. For the price point of this restaurant, I expected more. I only gave this 2 overall stars because after declining a dessert, our waitress had brought one to the table because of said occasion. Maybe the outdoor dining is better? Food: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+

I am writing this review for a friend, since she is elderly and doesn’t know how, so she asked me to write a nice review! So, this past weekend 3 retired nurses went to Mount Dora for a ladies getaway weekend. I told my friend that I previously lived in Mount Dora and my favorite restaurant was Pisces Rising! They went there on my recommendation and had a wonderful experience! This is what she texted me: Andrea, this was our last meal in Mount Dora. We got there early because my friend needed to use the bathroom and it was too early. Long story short, we spent some time on the patio. We could not get inside and love bugs absolutely horrendous. We finally got settled. The food was superb. It was outstanding! The one thing I will say about the place, the staff there are just unbelievable. They helped us take Carole who had limited ability, up a lift as she could not ambulate. They did this to make sure she could come down to our table - then they helped us get an Uber. I could not believe how the staff and the people in the restaurant pitched in to help lift her up and put her everywhere. Thank you for recommending it. I will tell everybody it is the place to go! The food was out of this world and I could not believe the staff. I have never seen people like that. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–40

Kaley gave exceptional service! She was attentive, very organized, and continually checked on our table, without being overly attentive. Food was exceptional as well!
