It's 5:50 AM and I am walking along Thumamah Road, I am looking for a coffee shop and guess what, I have Pistrina Bakery to the right of me, the entrance to the bakery has a nice hue of strong blue chalk paint color (my favorite color is blue). I enter the bakery and greet Mr. Nawaf and get the permission to do the photos and review. The ambiance is impressive with the walls adorning beautiful artifacts, baking tools, and a nice wayvy fabric draping the ceiling. There is indoor seating with comfortable seating. I am accompanied by my colleague and friend Mr. Ahmed Alsulami. I get myself an almond croissant and a small coffee of the day. Mr. Ahmed gets a cheese croissant and a large coffee of the day. I slice through the freshly baked almond croissant that is fluffy and soft and has a smooth almond filling that has a delightful taste and amazing flavor. Our rating is a whopping 9 out of 10. The cheese croissant is freshly baked, soft, and fluffy, and the cheese has a beautiful color and texture with awesome taste. Our rating is a generous 8 out of 10. The coffee of the day is made from premium high quality local grown Jazean coffee beans (Faifa Mountain) from the highest peaks of Jazan mountains (1980m altitude) in the Southern region of Saudi Arabia and coffee beans from Costa Rica. The coffee has a medium roast, enchanting notes of citrus fruit, chocolate, and hazelnut. Our rating is 9 out of 10. Overall rating is 8.5 out of 10.
