Vince is the best host!! He explained to us the process he uses for cooking his chips and any other meal he creates. Highly recommend the cheese burgers, NY hot dog, tacos, elotas, the incredible fries and the lemonade is the most refreshing drink on the island. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best Taco in the world - $7 for an unforgettable class on gastronomy and the enjoyment of life I’ve made it a point to talk to the Chef at Pit Stop Tacos Burgers & Sliders on three separate occasions and I still don’t know his name. I keep forgetting to ask him for his name because I’ve been obsessively asking him about his tacos somehow he’s selling $7 tacos that are better than any taco I’ve ever had in Mexico or California. I’m going to call him Dr. Chef. Dr. Chef clearly has a PHD in food, because he schooled me on how good of a meal you can have for $7 (keep in mind this is a fancy tourist area in Hawaii). Pit Stop Tacos Burgers & Sliders isn’t a food truck, it’s a food university. You’ll be taught on how cheese, when carefully pressed up on a griddle against tortillas and buns, creates a fragrant crispy shell that perfectly complements the pork and beef sliders. You’ll realize that other cooks have been lazy in using every day cuts of beef in tacos, and they should really pay more attention to the mix of lean and fatty cuts held in the tortilla. I watch Netflix movies about world class Chefs who are sick of working long hours in a high pressure NYC/LA kitchen and who decide to quit the whole thing and open up their own food truck by the beach. I’ve always thought those movies to be rubbish until I found this food truck, Dr. Chef is the real deal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
