Famous brewery, but tbh not as good as expected, seems like they mark IBU bit wrongly and some type experiments are out of style. Anyway good to stop for one. Also food I can really recommend
Friendly staff, delicious food & beer!
Good place to eat in Monastery place

I always look for a local brewery during my travel trip. and in Prague, you could try Klasterni Pivovar Strahov.
The Strahov Monastic Brewery is located in the building of the Strahov Monastery (walking distance from the Monastery Hotel), which was founded by King Vladislav II in 1142. The brewery was closed in 1907, and the buildings were used solely as farm houses. The brewery was restored in the year 2000, during an extensive and difficult reconstruction of the entire complex. The current Strahov Monastic Brewery offers to its guests a total capacity of 230 seats in three peculiar environments the brewery itself, St. Norbert Restaurant and Brewery Courtyard.
Strahov monastic brewery makes a very good products! The dark beer (black beer) is tasty with lots of white foam, malty with a touch of smoke and meat.
The price is quiet high in Prague, but it is worth to try. You could seat indoor or outdoor patio. You could see the fermenting tanks in the back room. The food is simple good Czech food. My favorite is Biftek v pepřové omáčce s koňakem, hranolky (Beefsteak in pepper cream sauce with cognac, French fries).
Over all, this is the place that you want to visit, have a good food, good ambience, good history background, and good service. Selamat Makan!
