I recently ordered a take out online at this store, and because I did not want to receive their survey phone calls afterward, I intentionally put in Pizza Nova's phone number as my contact number. Upon arriving at the store, this old man with glasses asked me in a very impolite manner to confirm with my phone number, and I explained to him how I did not want to receive their survey calls later on so I didn't put in my real phone number as this method didn't seem to cause any problems with my previous orders before. He said he did not proceed with my order because my phone number was not real. At first I thought it was totally fine since it is understandable for companies to have such policies to protect themselves from fraud orders. However, what was unacceptable was this man's attritude and manner. Not only did he show no effort into re-establishing a relationship with the customer, instead of asking if I wanted to proceed with my order, he said "You put in a fake phone number, now you have to wait.". I told him don't worry about it, I do not want the order anymore, but he replied "You should have put in a real phone number." I replied again "Its okay since it was my fault to put in an invalid phone number, so don't worry about it", and he replied "Yes, it was your fault." and walked away. This man's poor manner not only caused the store to lose a potential order, he also got the store a poor online review, and permanently lost any future orders from a customer. His poor customer service and rude attitude is truly unacceptable. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20 Service: 1
