Right after visiting Suehiro Shrine, come here for a meal. Many people visit this restaurant to taste nicely cooked pizza Margherita. The cosy atmosphere of Pizza Puppet makes guests feel relaxed and have a nice time. The hospitable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The owner is a kind man and speaks English. You could buy a soft drink set: pizza, drink and snacks for 1500 yen. The pizza was really good. Don’t miss this restaurant. The owner runs the restaurant by himself, but the service is still good. The pizza is made from whole wheat which is healthier but you can actually taste the freshness. The flavours may not be a wide variety but it’s definitely a different taste I needed. I went in the evening on a weekend so it was not crowded. Pizza Puppet because it's in Ningyocho. It's basically only open on Saturdays and Sundays, so the hurdles to visit are high. Apparently it's open on Friday nights a few days a month. I ordered a set of pizza and alcohol for ¥1300. There were three types of pizza to choose from, and I ordered pumpkin and roast pork. After paying on the first floor, go up the stairs to the second floor. The pizza is rectangular, about A4 size. The dough is slightly dark in color because it is made from whole grain flour. It looks like a galette. The thin crust was crispy and the entire pizza was gone in no time. It's a hidden gem in Ningyocho.
