Was it good? Yes, it was actually very good! I can see why people say this is their favorite pizza. The texture was very good. Bottom was firm with slight crunch, the toppings were loaded very heavily. I would still say that I like mellow better, but this was instantly a top 3. I need to come back to try more. Especially want to try the calzone. We got the 12" supreme and a 12" meat lovers. The cheesy bread was really good as well. For the price, you get a lot of cheesy bread. You will have leftovers. I wish it had more garlic, but its really good. I have read reviews that the pizza can be slow, but we sat inside and the pizza was done in about 12 minutes. Not sure if it is actually "stone baked" as the Decatur location had the pizza ovens you see at costco. Regardless, they were cooked really well. I dont know if the AC was broken or maybe it couldnt keep up, but inside the store was insanely hot. We ate 2 slices and had to box up to go home because i was sweating everywhere. I would leave the box open if you can. Fresh out of the oven, the pizza had a nice crunchy texture, but it quickly turned soggy on the drive home. I'll have to put my leftovers in the toaster oven to eat my leftovers. overall, great pizza, good prices. Its worth a try if you have never had it.
