The breakfast was great .. but we tried the hazelnut cake it was terrible !!!! Like its been on display for days .. and the price was very high !!! BD4.6 for a slice of cake!!!! Come on ..! Also they need to fix their lighting ! Its very dark inside ...! Like setting in a cave ! When i asked them to turn the light they said no !! Last thing .. the stairs! The café has such a warm and cozy atmosphere with a beautiful rustic vibe. The upstairs seating area is especially lovely for students and studying, making it the perfect spot if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and comfortable. I tried their famous chocolate cake and the cheesecake , both were absolutely amazing, easily a 10/10 for me. The chocolate cake in particular was rich, unique, and definitely something that would make me come back again whenever I’m craving a good chocolate dessert. I also ordered the Strawberry Matcha and the Birthday Matcha. Presentation wise, the Birthday Matcha was stunning and perfect for photos or celebrating with someone who loves matcha. I’d rate its presentation 10/10, but the taste was around 7/10. As for the Strawberry Matcha, I’d give it a 6.5/10 because the strawberry flavor was a bit too overpowering and overly sweet for my taste. The Flat White was also excellent , smooth, well balanced in sweetness, and clearly made with high quality coffee 8.5/10 . recently visited Place Cafe for breakfast and coffee. We had coffee along with Egg Benedict, Truffle Egg Brioche, and a Turkey Croissant. The food and coffee were just okay – nothing remarkable, but not bad either. The service was a little bit slow and we kinda struggled to get our order punched in first place. The main issue, however, is the safety of the place. The stairs felt quite dangerous and made the visit uncomfortable. Because of this, I wouldn’t give Place Cafe another chance.
