Come here for some rest after a long walk around Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. The staff is friendly that's what makes this restaurant so nice. Terrific service is something visitors appreciate here. When inside, the atmosphere is calm. Based on the users' feedback on Google, Platamone Terrazza deserved 4.7.

This place wants to be fine dining but misses the mark. Instead, it feels like an overpriced tourist trap with an average view. If they weren't charging fine dining prices, I could overlook the lack of service skills. But when you're paying nearly double what other bars and restaurants charge for drinks, the service should reflect those prices. Every time I've visited, the service has been disappointing. The servers are not particularly friendly, seem awkward, and appear to lack proper training. Nothing flows naturally. They clear items without asking, reach across guests, and you constantly have to ask for another drink because they don't pay attention or offer one. We spent around €30 on just three bqsic drinks, yet they ration the complimentary snacks. There were more than ten of us at the table and everyone was drinking and some eating and they brought one tiny bowl of nuts and a stale plate of chips, placing them on the table as though they were doing us a favour. The woman sitting alone behind us received the same amount. There are better views, better cocktails, and far better service for half the price throughout the city. If this hotel wants to charge five-star prices, it needs to train its staff to deliver a five-star experience.. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20

Fabulous experience! Angelo and Vincenzo made our evening absolutely unforgettable. These two are true master mixologists who clearly take pride in both their craft and hospitality. They created some of the best Old Fashioneds we had on our entire trip—expertly balanced, featuring excellent bourbon with the perfect touch of sage that made each cocktail unique and memorable. Beyond their incredible drinks, what really set this experience apart was the genuine conversation and atmosphere they created. We spent the evening discussing different global destinations, cultures, and the unique social experiences that make each place special. Their warmth, knowledge, and engaging personalities made us feel less like customers and more like welcomed guests. This rooftop bar became one of our favorite nights during our two-week trip through Sicily, and Angelo and Vincenzo were a huge part of why it was so special. We would not hesitate to return to Platamone rooftop bar and highly recommend stopping by for exceptional cocktails, wonderful company, and an unforgettable experience.
