Many people visit this bar to taste nicely cooked duck. You will hardly forget great lemonade that you can find. Most guests mark that the staff is good at this place. A number of reviewers think that the service is satisfying. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are fair. Clients who come to Playground state that the atmosphere is comfortable here. But this place hasn't earned a high rating from Google users.

THE BIGGEST MESS!!!! Came here to celebrate a birthday and already had reservations made for this location. We were seated, and literally a couple of minutes later, the bottle girl comes over and tells us that we either needed to purchase a bottle or move. Nowhere during the reservation process were we informed that purchasing a bottle was REQUIRED to keep our table. Had we known that beforehand, we could have made the decision whether we wanted to spend that additional $200–$300, depending on which bottle we chose. The issue is not necessarily having a bottle minimum—the issue is the lack of transparency. If purchasing a bottle is required, that information should be clearly communicated when reservations are made, not after customers have already arrived, been seated, and started their celebration. At that point, it definitely felt like we were being forced into spending additional money that we were never told about. Very disappointing experience, especially when you’re coming out to celebrate someone’s birthday. Service: 1

Yesterday, I attempted to visit The Playground, but it turned out to be a complete waste of time. First, they attempted to charge $40 for parking. When I finally found a spot, it was $20, but the parking lot was littered with broken glass and was an unsecured area. As we prepared to leave, a group of guys riding scooters in the parking lot began checking for unlocked car doors. The security guards at the entrance of The Playground were rude and unhelpful. I had been invited by a friend, but when we arrived, the people at the front asked if we had wristbands. Since we didn’t have any, they charged us to enter. The security guard at the entrance didn’t know how much they were charging though which I’m sure I wasn’t the first person to ask the question all night. It was around 12:15 am, and no one at the front knew how much they were charging. It wasn’t what she said, but how she said it that was rude. She was rude for no reason because I had a question. This is ridiculous. I’m a native Houstonian, and it’s unbelievable how some of these clubs and lounges try to monetize everything. I won’t be spending my money with this business and won’t recommend it to my friends. I’m so glad I didn’t waste my time or money. I was able to get my money back for the parking. We were there for only 10 minutes and left, almost charging up the parking lot attendant because we heard the conversation with the guys checking unlocked cars. The parking attendant was probably working with the group of guys trying to break into cars. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
