Nice hotel close to the beach. Catering to surfers. Board & wetsuit rinsing station at the back of the building. Ask for an ocean view room. Break & dinner on site for an extra charge. Japanese & Western meals can be requested. Service: 5

今回もプレザント日向は食事が美味しくて最高でした。 部屋が広く清潔感があり広く、トイレとバスがセパレートになっており、そして全ての部屋からお倉ヶ浜を一望できる最高のロケーション。 夕食は初日から順番に鶏炭火焼きどんぶり、豚ヒレ豚カツ定食、チキン南蛮定食。 朝食は和食屋、洋食、和食を食べました。 Once again, Pleasant Hyuga delivered an amazing stay with delicious meals! The room was spacious, clean, and had a separate bath and toilet. Best of all, every room offers a stunning view of Okuragahama Beach—you just can’t beat the location. Dinner (in order of the photos): • Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl (Sumibiyaki Donburi) • Chicken Nanban Set Meal • Pork Fillet Cutlet Set Meal Breakfast (in order of the photos): • Japanese-style breakfast • Western-style breakfast • Japanese-style breakfast

Loved this hotel. I was upgraded to a big studio, so I had a lot of space for myself. Cleanliness was outstanding all around the hotel. Installations felt brand new, or at least renovated recently. Furniture feels carefully picked, not just the usual hotel furniture. It's a quiet place near the surf beach. Just be aware there is not much else around. Restaurant is excellent, especially the dinner set which was impressive. I am guessing the cooks are the owners. Finally, staff is lovely, personable and attentive. Service: 5
