What a great bar! I was the first customer, and the service was excellent. The bartender made an effort to talk with me, even though I can't speak Japanese. We even played a game of shogi together! I highly recommend this bar if you're looking for a really good place to hang out, not just a place to get drunk. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had such a lovely time at Pledge. The Highball and Sour were some of the nicest I’ve had. Takeshi-san was very patient with us (not knowing Japanese) and was kind enough to use the Translate app with us to have conversation. The vibe was lovely - nice jazz/classical music, dark lighting and delicious whiskey. Highly recommend!
