Got a ham and cheese croissant from here on the way to work - $8 for 1 piece of cheese and 1 slice of ham in a dry croissant. Looks like they've changed ownership recently, now their food options are limited to pre-made petrol station style sandwiches and villis pies and sausage rolls. Shame because it's a lovely hole in the wall spot with a lot of potential.

Possibly the worst café on Hutt Street. And what a shame because potentially it has so much going for it: quiet, unpretentious, a colourless gem in need of a loving polish. As it is: the coffee is thin and tasteless, the cake was stale, and the service lacklustre. It was mothers’ day, so we avoided the busy cafés with people spilling out of their doors. Needless, to say, there was no-one at Plenty. Time for a serious rethink - ours & theirs! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: $20–40
