I stopped by for lunch on the day of the fireworks display. This is a small and friendly cafe that is loved by locals. There were magazines and books, and the chairs and tables were made of wood, giving it a nice atmosphere. The landlady also spoke kindly to the children. Please feel free to visit even if you are not a local. I had a sweet called ``Kuronbo'' that was mixed with brown sugar and was something between a crepe and a pancake. Even though I had eaten it for the first time, I felt an irresistibly tender and nostalgic feeling. This is a store that I feel loved. You can enjoy delicious coffee. Also, if you want to try orthodox Kuronboyaki, please come here. A cheerful mom will welcome you. It's a little outside of the city, and I got the impression that it was a place for the neighbors to relax. However, the problem is that the parking lot is narrow. I had promised to have dinner with an acquaintance who lives in Oarai, but we arrived earlier than expected, so I asked him to stop by to kill some time. The exterior has a retro feel and the interior has a nice atmosphere. The menu ranges from set meals to spaghetti (good thing it's not pasta), yakisoba, and okonomiyaki. It's also nice to have fresh juice. Siphon on the counter. The shop owner, the friendly lady, and the regular ladies, who take care of people like me, who have a bad personality and a strange background... It feels like a coffee shop of coffee shops. Unfortunately, I had dinner plans, so I couldn't have a set meal here, so I ordered Kuronboyaki, a food I didn't know, with coffee. The owner told me roughly that it was made from toasted wheat flour and sprinkled with brown sugar syrup, and that's exactly what it was. It is a snack that has been eaten in Oarai for a long time. It's probably just flour baked with butter and black sugar syrup sauce, but it goes well with coffee. We had delicious. Well, I've lived for almost half a century, so cheap snacks were certainly common when I was a child. When you grow up and eat a variety of foods and your palate becomes fat, when you eat the food you ate as a child, it's just sweet or salty. But nostalgia becomes a seasoning, and I think it's delicious...and I realize that I'm getting old. Later, during dinner, an acquaintance told me that there are several restaurants where you can eat Kuronboyaki. I heard that they decorate fresh cream and other items, so I personally thought they made a good choice at this store. I was able to eat The Kuronboyaki, not some fancy Kuronboyaki.
