Having seen East Park, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. British cuisine is well-cooked at Pollards Plaice. Nicely cooked flounder, fish & chips and sausages are among the dishes to be tried at this place. Get your meal started with great tea.

Been coming to place for years and it's always beautiful food. They collect the fish direct from Grimsby do regular offers

Only just noticed I had not left a review for Pollards Plaice after coming here for the last year. Really really good fish and chips I wish I lived closer. The quality of the fish is second to none and fried perfectly. The first time I went to Pollards I had my fish and chips wrapped and took it home( see pic Plaice and chips). Now my mouth is watering so much I have it open and eat in the car. They have some really good special offers price wise the last I had was regular fish n chips for a fiver. All portions are generous and the staff are great. Lots of good chippys in Hull I have tried a lot of them, Pollards is not good it's really really good, in fact it's exceptional. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Gone in again after a long pause. I decided on a take out and ordered a large special with mushy peas. It was as good as the ones I ate in, previously. Absolutely brilliant. Very generous portions cooked to perfection. Extremely pleasant all female staff. I still think that Pollards is probably the best fish shop in Hull.
