The food is really great. They charge a premium but they have the best appetizer compared to pollo campero. Their chicken isn't quite up to par to pollo campero but definitely the 2nd best chicken spot. They give better portions for the sides and they are significantly better than pollo campers. Price, I think pollo campers has the better price. Probably a 20% or more difference. Is it worth going for that big of a price difference. I think so. The quality is solid so if you want to change it up and have better sides definitely a solid choice. But pollo campers has the significantly superior chicken and better price point.

Pollo Royal is absolutely fantastic! I went with a group of friends and from the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with incredible hospitality that made us feel right at home. The restaurant is spotless, beautifully designed, and has such a great vibe. We ordered a variety of dishes to share so we could try as much of the menu as possible, and every single item impressed us. The wings are a MUST TRY. You can truly taste the freshness in every bite. The toston trio was amazing, the churrasco royal was cooked to perfection, and the chicken deserves a special shoutout for being incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The drinks at the bar were also excellent, and for those of legal age, the tamarindo margarita is a standout and definitely worth trying! Support local businesses!
