I chose Pommidoro dal 1890 Ristorante to celebrate my 40th birthday, and I honestly couldn’t have made a better choice. The food was exceptional, full of authentic Roman flavor, and every dish felt homemade and prepared with real care. What truly made the experience special, though, was the team — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. They created the perfect atmosphere for such an important celebration. One of the things I loved most was that this didn’t feel like a tourist trap at all. As someone who loves traveling and discovering authentic places abroad, it was wonderful to be one of the few tourists in the room, surrounded mostly by locals. That alone says a lot about the quality of the restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Price per person: €50–60

Despite having been temporarily closed due to COVID, Trattoria Pommidoro is back OPEN and is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to!!!!
