After a walk around Piazza dei Re di Roma, many visitors stop by this confectionary restaurant. You can't visit Rome without eating Tiramisu, and you can't eat Tiramisu without going to Pompi - it's vox populi among Romans and tourists alike, even though most locals are willing to concede that are better Tiramisu out there in several restaurants. However, as a specialized parlor running since 1960 it has won its place in everyone's hearts (except perhaps among the Chinese community, but that's another story). If you're new to Tiramisu try the Classic. If you're an expert, try the Classic just the same: it really is that good.
