I had Breakfast in Vegas cocktail, it was a signature cocktail but OMG I'm so recommending it. For food I had chicken satay, this two worked really well together. There is pool everywhere, the music and the atmosphere is something you have to try to understand what I'm talking about. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went to watch the England match, had never been to Poolhouse before but it’s a clean new venue right by the station and a cut above the local Wetherspoons which I have nothing bad to say about. Manjur recommended meals suitable to our needs and kept us hydrated throughout the evening. England may have only drawn but our party celebrated a victory! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hi Benjamin, We’re so glad you enjoyed your visit to Poolhouse. While the match may not have been a showstopper we hope the hospitality was! Hopefully see you again for the next game. Many thanks The Poolhouse Team

We loved the games and they work really well, the table is very well maintained and the atmosphere/decor is really cool. However, they are sleezy, and try and get a service charge for you booking the table when you order your drinks, and don’t tell you. You can ask for it to be taken off, or be refunded if you already paid it. The drinks are also really expensive for how small they are. It’s a shame because the games are really brilliant, they’re just money grabbing elsewhere! Also, the staff hover around your table and explain the games when you haven’t asked. The instructions are on the screen, and we’re not stupid and can figure them out, so it’s really not necessary for them to hover and jump in without being asked. I don’t know if them hovering is their way of trying to justify the table service charge, but it’s really annoying! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Hi Leanne, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed the games, the atmosphere and the venue. We’re sorry to hear that some parts of your experience weren’t to your liking. Our Games Hosts are there to welcome guests and explain how our interactive games work because they’re completely unique to Poolhouse and unlike anything else currently available. While the instructions are displayed on screen, we always offer a quick introduction so guests can get the most out of the experience before leaving them to enjoy the games. We’re sorry this wasn’t something you found helpful. Regarding the service charge, this is completely discretionary and can be removed at any time if requested. We appreciate your feedback and will certainly take it on board. Thanks, Poolhouse. Thanks, Poolhouse
