We are from Ohio traveling to New Mexico. This location has to be the best stop we had the whole road trip (1702 West Evergreen Ave, Effingham, IL). The employees were so nice! I got to know every single worker from the oldest to the youngest and who has worked there the longest. I enjoyed my conversation with Kevin, Jessica, Judah, Rolland, & Miles. I also told the Manager that day, how well they took care of us. They are like a close knit family. They joked around together and with me. The food was fresh & hot! & we enjoyed the frozen lemonade with the strawberry flavoring. I would definitely go back to this location on our way back home. Every location needs workers like this at Popeyes. Very friendly group. Thank you. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Very slow crew. Took forever to get our food and most of it was waiting in a bag for a while so when we got it it was almost cold. Decent food for what it was. Love the Popeyes sauce. But not worth the hype. Go elsewhere Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Definitely the most over priced Popeyes I have ever been to. The combos are literally twice as much as any other Popeyes I have ever been too. Next time I travel here I will just wait to eat. Staff seem nice though. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
