Great pizza shop in the Bellhaven Town Center and perfect pairing with beer across the hall at Fertile Ground. I tried their signature “The Captain” pizza as recommended by a local friend. We were recommended Poppy Pies Pizza by a couple when we came into Jackson for their wedding, and I’m so glad we took their advice. We aren’t from around this neck of the woods, but honestly we might have to come back just for this pizza. We ordered The Captain on thin crust, which the lady at the register recommended, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. The crust was perfect and the flavors were spot on. We also got to try a slice of our friends’ street corn pizza, and it was just as impressive. This place clearly knows how to make a pizza. If you’re anywhere near Jackson, it’s definitely worth stopping in. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
