Food are cheap and okay-ish. While the food was decent, the sinigang definitely more salty than a bucket of armpit sweats. The staff looks like they are overwhelmed with customers that they mixed up a couple of my ordered things. However, considering the casual atmosphere, it wasn't a major deal breaker. Overall, it's an okay dining experience for a quick and budget-friendly meal. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Por'que is a one hit wonder, two at best. I had their signature meal and what I'm assuming gave the resto their claim to fame - the lechon belly meal. With the lechon belly taking center stage, you get to choose one of two vegetable dishes available for the day, a cup of steamed white rice, a bowl of tamarind soup (sinigang) and three condiments - lechon gravy, roasted peanuts, and pickled grated papaya (atsara). Presentation was nothing spectacular in contrast to the staff who were very welcoming and absolutely pleasant. They're probably the reason you would think of coming back. The food wasn't stellar as well but it did tick a few boxes. The skin of the lechon belly was thin and crispy making you want more after the initial crunch. The meat itself was tender and moist to be distinguished from oily which it definitely was not. The condiments complemented the meal quite nicely and before I knew it, the meal was all but gone. This was in between spoonfuls of the pakbet and sinigang. I wouldn't call their lechon belly the best but it did meet expectations.
