The service at Porangi was great – quick and friendly. The food tasted good at first, but unfortunately, I became very ill a few hours after eating their beef pasta. I vomited continuously for two days and had a severe upset stomach. When I reported this, I was told the beef might have been from the previous week Friday and may not have been stored properly. I had bought the food on a Thursday – nearly a week later – so this was extremely concerning. Selling food that’s possibly unsafe is unfair and dangerous. I was very sick and frustrated, especially since I was on duty at the time. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and ensures better food safety going forward.
