I come to this port city java often, and i have been quite disappointed recently. The espresso just has been tasting very off. Some days it’s extremely watery and other days it tastes bitter and burnt. On top of that, the wait time has gotten much longer. The baristas explained that they recently got a new espresso machine and they’ve been having trouble with it, but isn’t this a coffee shop? Why is the espresso machine not working every day? I don’t want to pay $8 for a latte that doesn’t taste good. They were also closed for 2 entire days and somehow nothing was fixed. However, the baristas there are so friendly and welcoming and the food tastes good, just wish the coffee was better. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Sarah, thank you for the honest feedback, and we're sorry the espresso has been inconsistent. We recently installed a new espresso grinder at Brunswick Forest, and we expect that to smooth out the issues you've been noticing. We know it's a lot to ask guests to be patient through the transition, especially when an $8 latte doesn't taste the way it should. Glad the baristas and food have still been solid, and we hope the coffee catches up soon.

I recently ordered a mocha shake. It was decent but the location across from Aldi’s taste better, Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Basically I don't want to be too negative because overall I like the location, the bagel was microwaved. And everybody knows what happens to a bagel when you microwave it. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
