We visited here from out of town, and every second I was here, I was more and more sad that we don’t have a place like this at home! The menu had so many fun and delicious items (with super great prices I might add), and they tasted just as delicious as they looked! We tried 4 different hot dogs and the corn nuggets, which was all amazing, but the homemade root beer really stole the spotlight!! We ended up buying a gallon to take home with us thank you for the friendly service and amazing food!! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you like the drive-in, this is your place. Fun food trays for the kids. Eat in the car, at a picnic table or inside booth. Great place for lunch with the kids! Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

My granddaughters love this Vintage Root Beer Stand. Not only do the have fun seating arrangements, extensive classic food choices and shelter from the rain but, they also give young persons a chance to enter the working world. The employees are able to advance their skills of politeness, currency math, memorization and food preparation! I’m not sure exactly how long The Port Drive In has been around, but I remember my sister Andrea worked there circa 1961- 1963. It goes to show how much the Indiana Dunes area residents and guests have enjoyed the great food and service of The Port Drive In for many, many years!
