Super bad service! We went there with our kids (5 month old and 6 years old). The man said we cannot eat inside without reservation. So we said we’ll just eat outside. We waited for 10 minutes outside, nobody went to get our order. My husband went inside to check, another next group who speak French also didn’t have any reservation but they let them inside. Service: 1

We loved Porta Alta. My parents are visiting me from out of town and I was craving Italian food, pasta, pizza. But a lot of restaurants in Ghent are closed Monday and Tuesday. So I went to Google to look for an option and I saw Porta Alta. I saw that it had a great location and so we went. We were pleasantly surprised. I really liked the spaghetti boloñesa and the pizza. The service was super friendly. The ambiance is very nice as well. Like I said, location is as good as it can be. I will definitely go back.
