Siamo felici che cibo e vino ti siano piaciuti, ma sul tiramisù dobbiamo farti un avvertimento ufficiale: crea seria dipendenza e non siamo responsabili se ora passerai le giornate a cercarlo ovunque! We just got done “eating out way through Rome”, and I can say hands-down Il Porto di Ripetta is the best restaurant we tried in the city! Let’s start with the food, which is absolutely delicious. The various pastas we tried were off-the-charts fantastic. The Osso Bucco is the best any of us have ever had. I could rave about the food all day. And the desserts…superb!! All of them!!! (And we tried all of them :) Don’t miss the tiramisu or the pistacio cream dessert. Both were tremendous. As for the service: Anna went above & beyond in so many different ways to meet both our various dietary needs and our culinary preferences. She takes such pride in the experience she and her colleagues deliver. And rightfully so! Everything about this restaurant is a “cut above.” If you are in North Rome and/or near Piazza di Poppolo, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. My family, friends and I went back, it was so wonderful. Simply put: Il Porto di Ripetta was our favorite dining experience in Rome! And that’s quite the high bar to clear!!
