The café is located on a charming little street, right next to the local community library. In front of the shop, there is a long wooden bench for those who enjoy sitting outdoors. As you walk in, on the left side are two large leafy plants thoughtfully placed to visually soften the space, preventing the high ceiling from feeling too cold or empty. Along the wall is a row of high bar-style seating. The wall on the right side is also decorated with deep green plants displayed in wooden frames with a bonsai-inspired style. In the center of the café is the coffee bar and light food preparation area. Behind the counter, a large black wall is cleverly used as both the menu board and part of the interior design. The café features wooden tables and chairs, adding to its cozy atmosphere. At the back of the shop is a hallway leading to the restroom, decorated with small framed pictures along both walls. There is also a small playroom for children nearby. The menu offers a wide variety of drinks, pastries, and light snacks. The desserts have a classic American-style touch. I tried a hot cappuccino ($5) and a chocolate croissant ($4). Unfortunately, the croissant was not warmed up like at Starbucks, so the chocolate inside did not melt, which took away some of the sweetness and richness of the pastry. The coffee itself has a strong flavor profile. One thing I personally did not enjoy was being served coffee in a paper cup, since the paper smell affects the overall coffee experience for me. The background music was soft and relaxing. The café is designed in a rustic warehouse style with high ceilings, wood textures, and brown and black tones as the main colors. The use of dark green plants throughout the space is a very smart decorative choice that adds warmth and balance to the interior. There are also power outlets under the seats, making it convenient for studying or working at the café. The staff were friendly, and I especially liked the way they handwrite customers’ names on the cups. Overall, this is an ideal place to meet friends, study, or enjoy a quiet afternoon. I'm a big fan of local cafes and I loved the vibe about Posie's. From their fresh pressed juice to their speedy and friendly service. This is a place I would recommend to go to at least once if you enjoy quality hot drinks, a really good bagel, and to be in and out in roughly 10-15 minutes unless it is ABSURDLY busy or you are dining in. For my drink I got a 12 oz Chai with 2% milk and a jalapeno bagel with mama cici's cream cheese which was peppers, oil, and cream cheese. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options for food and pastries!
