What an incredible addition to Charlotte! We recently dined at Postscript, and from start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Our server, Kayla, was an absolute superstar—attentive, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about both the food and beverage menus. She helped make an already great meal even better. The space itself is cozy, stylish, and inviting. It strikes the perfect balance between cool and comfortable. Every dish we tried was exceptional. The Caesar salad with fries was surprisingly memorable, loaded with Parmesan and paired with crispy, obviously homemade fries. We also shared the Muffuletta Rolls, which were delicious and served with a fantastic olive tapenade. For our entrées, we shared the Cavatelli with Wild Mushroom Stroganoff and added the beef cheek—which took an already amazing dish to another level. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also had the Chicken Scarpariello with spicy Italian sausage, marinated peppers, and roasted potatoes. Absolutely delicious, perfectly executed, and packed with flavor. One thing worth mentioning: the portions are generous. You definitely won't leave hungry. The cocktail menu was equally impressive. I tried the mango cocktail and the pickle martini—both creative, unique, and thoughtfully crafted. The desserts were outrageous too. The rice pudding had this unbelievable texture and consistency. And the rocky road sundae was delightful. I could’ve had four of them. Between the outstanding food, great cocktails, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional service from Kayla, Postscript absolutely knocked it out of the park. The food and service were amazing. You can taste how much time and effort they are putting not only into the food but sourcing quality local ingredients. PostScript has proven to be one of the hidden gems in Charlotte's restaurant scene. The minute you step in, you are treated by not only a welcome hello but a vibe that let's you know that it's where you are meant to be. The food is outstanding, the cocktails are delicious and all of the wait staff are very engaging. If you have ever been to New Orleans and visited Sylvain, this is exactly the kind of experience and feeling you get at Postscript.
