In August 1993, we went there on our honeymoon. I believe they had opened that same year? The meal we had then, was 5*, so wonderful we travelled from York for another meal a few days later. 2008 we returned again with our young daughter and the service and food was still excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant. The best! We live in Canada and would go out of our way to dine at Postilions. Well done chef/owner!

Visited Bowness last week for our honeymoon trip! We were bought a voucher for the Postilion by family & told it was amazing! We was definitely not disappointed! Service, atmosphere and most of all the spectacular food were exquisite! Would recommend to all & will certainly be going again very soon!!
