Was in London for a day out with the hubby and decided to have a meal at Pot and Rice after it was recommended to us, before heading to the West End for a show. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we arrived, so we were able to order easily via the QR code. The ambience is simplistic but warm and cosy, making it a nice place to relax. Our food arrived surprisingly quickly. I had the Taiwanese fried chicken and Tom Yum seafood, and both were delicious. The portions were very decent, the food was piping hot throughout, and everything tasted fresh and flavourful. I particularly liked that the soy sauce was served on the side, allowing you to add as much as you like to suit your taste. We also took advantage of the cocktail happy hour — 2 for £12 — and tried the Lychee and Mojito, both of which were very good. We finished with some bubble tea, which was also enjoyable. Overall, we were very happy with our meal, the quality of the food and the customer service. A great find for a casual meal, especially if you’re heading to the West End afterwards.
