Hold on $22 for wonton noodle soup plus a beer somehow came to $36? Unfortunately the noodles tasted quite raw, and so did the 3 wontons. Pretty disappointing as I’d hoped this place would be better being a local spot. Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Hi Rick, we are sorry to hear about your negative experience. The egg noodles we serve are specially made on request from our provider to be more firm. This caters to our customers who take their time eating, to prevent the noodles from bloating quickly. Our wontons are made in house, steamed fresh and put into soup dishes right away, therefore it cannot be raw from 2 cooking methods. Our prices are pretty standard compared with other restaurants and sellers, especially the specialty Vietnamese beers. Thank you for dining with us and we appreciate you for your feedback! Have a nice night

Hands down the best Pho I have ever eaten and the owners are super friendly as well, making us feel very welcome, and going out of their way to accommodate us! When I asked what makes the Pho so delicious the owner said that’s it’s a fresh batch of master stock that’s just come off the stove after 16hrs, and you can really taste the difference. The lemongrass chicken was also zesty and delicious, and the kid loved her freshly made rice paper rolls and stir fried vegetables. The place was packed when we arrived and we sat in the rear courtyard, which was a lithe cold, but the warm hospitality and amazing food soon made up for that. And after a beer or two who can feel the cold anyway? I can’t quite put my finger on what made the Pho so good, except to say that it had a depth of flavour, and a richness and complexity that I can’t say that I have experienced before, with all the flavours in perfect harmony with one another. It was rich and hearty and not at all overwhelming and I just couldn’t get enough of it! Add to this the good nature and friendly service of the owner, happy to be taking the time to speak to us and crack jokes, it’s true hospitality of the highest order, and worth crossing town for! Or, in our case, coming from inter state, it’s the type of authentic hospitality experience that you’re unlikely to encounter anywhere else, which has a unique Melbourn-ian flavour to it, and totally worth travelling for - it’s part of what makes Melbourne great and sets it apart from from anywhere else! Highly recommended. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Plenty of yummy vegetarian options fussy kid eater was totally satisfied
