We loved everything about Perfect 48. We took my mum there for her birthday, and she follows a vegetarian, no-allium diet, which can often be quite challenging when dining out. The team was incredibly accommodating and handled her dietary requirements with such care and attention to detail—it was genuinely impressive. The food itself was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly crafted with thought and creativity. Even with the dietary adjustments, nothing felt compromised—the ingredients were fresh, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious. You could really tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. What made the experience truly special was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They took the time to understand my mum’s needs and made her feel comfortable and valued throughout the entire meal. There was a sense of sincerity in their hospitality that you don’t always find. They went above and beyond to make her birthday memorable, and it turned into such an unforgettable experience for her—and for all of us. Prefecture 48 was a great find — a real off-the-beaten-track oasis. The space has a cool, funky vibe that makes it feel a bit different from the usual spots. The menu is creative and well put together, with plenty of interesting options. Service was also solid — friendly and attentive without being over the top.
