Finally, good quality pizza in Rethymno. This city has suffered from bad pizza for so long until now. Prego pizza is wonderful. We ordered the mushroom pizza and the Pork pizza. The flavors are wonderful, the dough is very flavorful and of high quality texture. We wish it were a bit crispier but this is not that big of a deal because it tasted so good. We also ordered the rice balls, cheesy and delicious and we tried all three of their desserts. The clear winner is the Tiramisu. Easily the best we have ever had. The chocolate cake was moist and good but could be a bit more dense. The red velvet cake was not the traditional flavor or red velvet , but still was okay. But the tiramisu. Wow. The texture, the flavor and the best part is that there was not an overwhelming coffee taste. It was just an accent. Perfect. We look forward to trying the rest of the menu and we are so happy to have such a tasty option close to the house that hopefully will stay open all year round. Bravo Prego!
