Unfortunately, Present Co. could be a great vibe but we experienced extremely slow service that ultimately dampened the mood. At higher end restaurants you expect a nicely paced meal. No one likes rapid fire plates; however, over the course of 2 full hours I was served a salad and 4 bland cappelletti (2 of my 3 courses). No entree in sight. If we were drinking or in comfortable seating it may have been more enjoyable. But at the 2 hour mark we asked for our entrees to go. I’ll add that we really aren’t the types to squabble over a couple bucks, but upon sitting down we were left to interpret the 3 and 4 course pre-fix menu ourselves since a server did not come to our table for 20 minutes. When we ordered we were told there would be an up charge because we picked 3 savory dishes. So all in all a $300 meal that really felt a bit like torture at the end. We asked to touch base with a manager regarding the up charge he clearly felt the same lack of urgency to get to our table and never showed up.
