Prevenance lives up to its name and it’s a gem! This is a by reservation only establishment which can be done by phone or over their website. The location in a quiet lane of upscale aoyama is matched by its interior. A 5/7 or 11 course menu is available and this is truly well worth the price tag! We were here at lunch and every course was personally prepared and served by chef shizukai. The wine list is not extensive but like the food is picked for quality, price and pairing. I won’t spoil the adventure but we found a 5* gem in our neighbourhood. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had lunch. Perfect Thanksgiving day meal. Every dish served was thoughtfully layered in taste and texture. Chef told us the vegetables come from his farm in Ibaraki. How wonderful! He even walked us to the best photo spot for a shot of the Meiji Jingu Gaien after lunch! Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
