Curzon is one of Colchester's treasures, but what makes it a real gem are the wonderful people who run the place!!! They are so lovely & they always listen with enthusiasm to my monologues about the film I've just seen. Alongside that, the drinks & the food on offer are always delicious & the seats are super comfortable with ample leg room It's always a real delight for me to go watch a movie there (in fact, I now have a full on membership because it's so enjoyable). Thank you Curzon Colchester!!

Really poor service. Rude, stuck up and cant be bothered. Considering the competition id expect them to be at least nicer to a customer especially considering the price difference to other cinemas. Won't ever be taking my family there again. Roll on the Vue and Odean.

We absolutely love coming here. If your looking for a more sophisticated and cozy cinema experience then this is it. There is a lovely cafe area on the ground floor with lots of great options for food drinks and snacks. There are lots of lounge areas to sit and relax. A balcony area on the upper floors makes it extra special. The screens themselves are medium size and seating comfortable with decent leg room and a table on the arm for each person. There is not dedicated parking but there is a car park a short distance away at priory street. Overall always a good experience.
