The atmosphere was ok, and this place had just opened following a refurbishment. However, the service was very poor. Although the staff were friendly, they were clearly understaffed as we waited almost 30 minutes to get drinks and give our order for food. Very nearly got up and walked out. After we ordered it was again a long wait for the food. Mains were ok, but the pudding as a disaster. I had the chocolate fudge cake, at almost £8 and it was just a melted disaster on a plate. Looked nothing like the picture in the menu and was completely unappetising. Overall, we were there for 2 hours for drinks and a bowl of pasta. Very disappointing. We decided to have a tapas like meal so we ordered 4 different starters and a garlic bread with mozzarella. The staff were great Friendly and very helpful. We like it a lot more since the refurbishment will be back soon. Not forgetting Harry who was particularly friendly and helpful.
