Great location for someone with a car. We are hiking and walk to Primula entrance is partly on busy road. Tha staff were very helpful and courteous. We arrived early before checkin and it was not a problem. We were made to feel welcome and even given a glass of wine to relax with whilst our room was being prepared. The restaurant for dinner had lovely food I had the black rice with squid and it was delicious. The local Chardonnay was lovely. There is a lovely garden terrace and also an outside viewing terrace to view the gorgeous river, dam and amazing railway bridge. We didn’t really get to enjoy these as the weather was rainy.
