One of the best Albanian restaurants I’ve ever tried! The food was amazing, fresh, and full of authentic Albanian flavor. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and clean. The grilled meat, salads, and traditional dishes were absolutely delicious. You truly feel like family the moment you walk in. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food and genuine hospitality. Definitely coming back again! Found this gem in Morris Park and had to write a review. Prizreni Grill is the real deal if you’re looking for authentic Albanian/Balkan food in the Bronx, and bonus, the food is halal which made it a no-brainer for us. We tried the Qofte Prizreni (kofte stuffed with mozzarella) and oh man, that was a nice surprise. The melted cheese inside the meatball is such a good combo, juicy and flavorful, you can taste that everything is fresh. We also got the Tasqebap, a slow-cooked Balkan beef stew with onions, paprika and spices. So tender, the meat just falls apart, and the sauce has that deep slow-cooked flavor where you can tell they didn’t rush it. For dessert we went all in and got two. Trileqe was amazing, soft, milky, sweet but not too sweet, exactly how it should be. We also tried the Sheqer Pare, and that one was dangerous. Soaked in syrup but still soft and buttery inside, the kind of dessert you wanna order extra of. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, real Balkan hospitality. They make you feel at home from the second you walk in, helping with the menu and checking on you without being pushy. The place itself is modern and clean, and they have a nice big backyard area too which is great when the weather’s nice. If you want authentic, halal, and genuinely good food in the Bronx, Prizreni Grill is the spot. Definitely coming back.
