I’ve lived in New York and London, arguably the hottest “brunch” spots in the world, but this one was definitely the best. Florian and Emily are a dream team, the food is delicious and the service is spot on. Definitely a must when visiting La Rochelle! We were lucky enough to find Promenade cafe this morning! Tucked into the heart of the centre, it’s a gorgeous quaint, eclectic cafe with beautiful decor and a lovely local atmosphere. The service was very friendly and efficient. Having our little dog inside was no problem. The guy who runs this puts in a lot of effort and it shows! The food was so fresh and wholesome, we got the pancakes with scrambled egg & bacon and it was perfect. Lovely to see such a genuine establishment.
