We are from Florida but were visiting Cali a few weeks ago and decided to drive up Highway 1. After all day on a plane, we were starving, and found this place on Google. I cannot stress how good these burritos were. All 3 of us got the Super Burritos but with different proteins, and all 3 of us agree that we dream about these burritos. On our way back from Point Reyes, we randomly stopped at this small Mexican food truck and wow. This was hands down the best Mexican food we’ve had so far. I got the quesadilla birria, and my brother got the special - quesabirria (basically three tacos), and oh my gosh it was insanely good. Like, the kind of food where you just look at each other after the first bite because you weren’t expecting it to be that good. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricier side (paid ~$20 for each dish) — but it is 100% worth it. But honestly, what made this even more special wasn’t just the food — it was the people. The person who welcomed us (and also served the food) was just such a kind soul. He took his time, gave us recommendations (which were spot on), and even explained how certain flavors come through and how they prepare everything. You could really feel that this is his passion. It didn’t feel like just stopping for quick food. It felt like a whole experience. Places like this are the reason I love finding small, local spots. We’ll definitely be back. A wonderful and welcome addition to the local dining scene. The service is friendly and casual. It’s not fast food, it’s good food, fast. Omar and Griselda are two of the best people I know and they hit the nail on the head with what the locals want and need. The tacos and burritos are our favorites and are A LOT of food for the money. I’ve not sat and eaten in the garden area they have designated cause I’m always in a hurry but if I had more time it’s would be lovely. Lots of room for everyone.
