If you happen to be near Leiper's Fork, you can visit this bbq. Eating perfectly cooked pork, sweet fries and catfish is what most clients recommend. Pucketts of Leipers Fork may please you with tasty ice cream and good peach cobbler. Among the drinks, there is delicious beer. After a long working week, you can try great americano.
You can listen to live music in the evening. The atmosphere of hospitality of this place highly depends on the staff, that is efficient here. Service at this spot is something one can call prompt. Many visitors have noticed that the dishes are offered for attractive prices. When you enter this place, pay your attention to the peaceful atmosphere. But in comparison with other restaurants, Facebook gives this bbq a below average rating.

Depends what you're looking for here... it's now called "Fox & Locke" (its original name) and is no longer called Puckett's. If you're looking for a lively, homegrown, noisy/loud, figure-it-out-as-you-go-kinda-packed place with good food and drinks, you'll love this place. We like some of the aforementioned, but not all, so we liked, but didn't love our experience. This is our second visit and it was still a little on the loud side (on our first visit we had to leave immediately because it was deafening inside). On this visit they had an acoustic performer and he did a nice job (again, it was just a little louder than it needed to be on the speakers). Our food was pretty good, no real complaints except the sweet potato fries don't have much flavor. The tables are packed in pretty snug and there aren't hosts communicating how the ordering system goes or where the line(s) begin. The locals probably have it down to a science, but for visitors it can be a little overwhelming -- particularly with the loud music and crowded room.

Puckett's is a real down home meat and three. Very warm and friendly atmosphere, and the staff were helpful and attentive. Food was well made and delicious. Live music is definitely a big plus. High recommendation, worth any drive.

We have always enjoyed going to the different Pucketts around Tennessee however Sunday dinner was a huge disappointment at Puckett's of Leipers Fork. There were only a couple people at the bar and nobody eating in the restaurant, which should have been a red flag. You order your food at the counter near the front door and then they bring it out to you when they have it ready. The food did not taste fresh, it might have been made first thing in the morning and then left on the burner all day long to keep it warm. Imagine eating a BBQ sandwich which has large chunks of dried out meat, or the fried Orka which is warm and mushy on the outside and cool on the inside instead of a fresh crunchy coating. Since it was the only place open I would have to say it was the best place to eat in Leipers Fork, we should have kept driving. As a positive note the people at the register were friendly.
