It was my first time trying the Caribbean food at the Pull up Bar and I must say it was absolutely delicious! The flavours were beautiful, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. You can tell the food is made with love The evening was filled with such incredible mix of talented singers, poets, story tellers and performers, creating such wonderful atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout. Sharon has created such a beautiful and welcoming space for the community, bringing people together to enjoy great Authentic Caribbean food, entertainment, and good vibes. My granddaughter and I felt genuinely welcomed and we had a fantastic time. A special Thank you to Sharon for introducing me to Wayne it was such a lovely opportunity and made the evening even more memorable. And Wayne’s singing was absolutely stunning! I would definitely recommend the Pull up bar and will definitely be back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection

(Firstly, I would just like to state that I am of West Indian heritage and therefore know good Caribbean food when I see/eat it.) We ordered two Hench Boxes - Curry Goat w/ Pepper Steak and Ackee & Saltfish w/ Curry Veg via Deliveroo. Upon arrival, we found that not only was the slaw missing, but the portion size of the Ackee & Saltfish w/ Curry Veg was the smallest Caribbean takeaway I have EVER eaten (the use of the word 'Hench' to describe this box I would consider to be misleading). The Curry Goat w/ Pepper Steak portion size was fine - but once again not what I would consider 'Hench'. We attempted to speak to the manager regarding the issue; however the manager was not present at the time. I left my phone number and was advised that the manager would call that same evening to discuss the matter; however unsurprisingly, there was no call. As a result we were left with no other option but to contact Deliveroo to resolve the issue - which was not as simple as it may seem. On the plus side, what was included in our boxes tasted good - hence the two star rating rather than one. To conclude, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Food: 2 Service: 1 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

I am so sorry you was not happy with our portion sizes on any of the dishes that we have sent to you. I the owner I was not there, but I will take into consideration and have words with my staff we have never had complaints about our portion size before so I will look into this thank you Dale I have just spoke to My staff they said they tried to ring you twice and no answer but thank you for bringing this to my attention anyway

Pull Up Bar Café is easily the best Caribbean restaurant in town. The food is always delicious, authentic, and full of flavour, and the prices are amazing for the quality and portion sizes you get. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great place for a date as well as family meals and get-togethers. Every visit has been a great experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for genuine Caribbean food at a reasonable price.
