We came to this place without any expectations, to have some started but we were blown away with the first course! And decide to get the full dinner this was one of the best Italian restaurants we tried, so innovative with a touch of Japanese. Highly recommended. We were served by Leandro which gave us an exceptional service. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a party of 5 for dinner; one of us was vegetarian, and another one of us didn't eat raw fish. I emailed the restaurant this afternoon, and they got back to me immediately with follow up questions on dairy/eggs, and any other allergies, and were more than happy to accommodate. When we arrived at 630, we were warmly greeted by Tasaoka-san, who seated us and explained the menu each of us would have. Hats off to the chef and his team for such a creative and well executed menu using the freshest ingredients, and for the impeccable service throughout. Each course was delicious and delightful with its ingenuity! The truffle Bombolone to start was filled with an amazing creamy cheesy filling, and topped with a generous shaving of truffle. The chilled onion soup with sea urchin was the perfect pairing; the swordfish was tender and melted in your mouth; the deep fried white asparagus with thinly shaved prosciutto was another crowd pleaser. The chilled spaghettini with snapper sashimi and parmesan cheese was simply ingenious, with the perfect bite to the pasta! Homemade pappardelle with wagyu beef, and the tenderest venison loin served with delicious peppercorns bursting with flavor was better than any prime rib we've had, rounded out the filling meal. Dessert was a blue cheese cheese cake that even the non-gorgonzola lovers amongst our party found surprisingly tasty. Each dish as it was being eaten, became our favorite dish of the evening!! Thank you to the team at Pulsare. While we didn't speak any Japanese, the entire team made us feel welcome, accommodated our dietary restrictions, and provided impeccable service. We can't wait to be back with family in June, and will spread the word to our friends on this fantastic gem of a restaurant serving delicious fresh food that delights, surprises and satiates!
