Do not delay your visit – seriously, Caribbean and Dominican cuisines are waiting for you. This fast food boasts nicely cooked fried chicken, empanadas and sandwiches. Select between indoor and outdoor seating. Most guests consider the staff competent. Punta Cana Caribbean Restaurant is remarkable for its fabulous service. It's always good to try something new and enjoy the exotic atmosphere. 4.6 is what this place received from the Google rating system.

The food was "okay". I had more chicken gristles and bones then meat. The plantains weren't season. Really just fried. Wasn't what I would expect as Caribbean food. The only reason I'll rate this 3 stars is because the outdoor seating is very nice and the staff was sweet.

I have been here twice and it's a 10 out of 10! The food is delicious and home cooked, somebody back in the kitchen has grandma level cooking powers! I can't wait to go back. The atmosphere is very pleasant with the food, service and the music. If I close my eyes , just for a second I'm back as a little kid eating my grandma's food back when she was alive. Give it a try, and remember, it takes 20 minutes atleast to fry chicken, be patient, it will be worth it!

Very easy to find. Was mildly surprised that it was a food truck. Really nice set up and VERY clean!!! They have multiple Dominican combos and can build your own. The converted bus they have for "inside" dining is also VERY clean and has a funky Latin vibe going on. I had the pork, rice with gandules(pigeon peas), plátano maduro (sweet plantains) and I got a side order of fried yucca. Make sure you use the sauce you get for the yucca it's slightly reminiscent of chimichurri sauce and very delicious!! Well worth the drive over from Decatur!
