I have a nine month old golden retriever, male who is very well-behaved and does not mount or hump. The first few times we went there we were told it was fine even though he was not neutered and we’re just told to give our vaccine info. Last time we went, we were told that he could not be in there since he wasn’t neutered. We were upset, but the staff was very friendly and told us, we can finish out our stay there since we had already paid and gotten drinks. That’s when a staff member named Kay came over and asked us to leave. She was extremely rude and belittled me and my wife in front of a group of other customers. I get you have a policy but my dog is too young to be neutered. Goldens have a high risk of developing hip and bone growth issues if neutered before 18 months. Also, I’ve seen many dogs be aggressive and constantly mounting and humping other dogs, and yet my dog and I get kicked out? This is ridiculous and a double standard. Also Kay needs to seriously reconsider working in customer service she was so rude.

Dear Adrianna, We deeply regret the unfortunate incident and understand your disappointment. We aim to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our patrons and their pets. Our neutering policy is in place to ensure the well-being and comfort of all our four-legged guests, but we realize the unique needs of different breeds. Your feedback has prompted us to revisit our policies and staff training. We sincerely apologize for the perceived rudeness, it certainly does not reflect the high standard of customer service we strive for. Please rest assured necessary steps will be taken to address this issue. We hope you give us another chance to better serve you and your furry companion in the future. Sincerely, Pups and Pints

So much fun!! Good food and drinks. I think it was a special summer event when we went but there was a bounce house for kids and free snow cones. They have doggie pools and an off leash area with a splash pad for dogs! Your dog needs to be updated on their shots to use the off-leash area, which keeps it safe and clean for everyone. Will definitely come back for beer, lawn games, and dog fun

The most fun and relaxing Sunday afternoon! We googled things to do in the Virginia Beach area before heading back to our hotel in Hampton. Pups and Pints came up and my aunt and I both thought perfect! We were greeted immediately by Alex the owner and some very friendly clients, Mark, Caryn and their pooch Koda. Catherine the bartender was great and we all just chatted it up for a couple hours. Alex was kind to find me a glass and a cozy with Pups and Pints on it for me to take home when I mentioned I loved the pic of their glass on their website. Thanks so much Alex!! Such a great place with friendly people.
