Perfectly cooked is the most suitable description for pies at Purest. You can share tasty ginger cookies and good biscuits with your friends and have a nice time here. The positive aspect of this place is that the staff is courteous. But google users rated this spot and it didn't get a high rating.

Drove to the bakery today. Fabulous, friendly and very knowledgeable about anything I inquired about. Happily brought home 2 very soft loaves of bread, a butter tart square and a bag of gravy thickener and a bread mix. Everything was gluten and dairy free along with free of other allergens too. Only had a slice of bread so far and it’s delicious!

Bought a frozen tortiere at Carleton Place store, either $23 or $28 cant remember, totally not worth the money. Pastry was horrible, scratchy and didnt bake up well, filling was bland bland bland. I hate leaving a bad review but it was nasty. Tried to resurrect it with salt and longer baking but nothing worked.
